About the Artwork: The Return
Where I created this piece: Quai François Mitterrand at the Pont des Arts, Paris France.
What I love about this piece: The comfort of the two women with one another, and also with where they are in space and time. There also seems to be a little anticipation or excitement in the air: I like to think they are returning to someplace familiar, perhaps a place they knew well, having lived here long ago - the neighborhood is saying hello to another old friend.
