I blend together elements of architectural, cityscape/landscape, and scenic street photography to create my artwork. I use vibrant colors, luminous pops of light, and super rich, dark shadows.
And I love to play with composition and motion/stillness, to cultivate the emotion, or tell a bit of the story and meaning behind my photographs.

Hi - I’m Lauren Galloway Gibson, artist & owner of Studio Di Sarlo.
I love creating artwork that explores the texture of memory, nostalgia, and stories we tell (and stories we hide).
I’m especially interested in how cities in particular have their own textured layers of memories and stories from the many lives who have come before.
