About the Artwork: The Wink
Where I created this piece: Rue de l'Ancienne Comédie, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Paris France.
What I love about this piece: The couple crossing the street alone are beautifully framed by two rose-tinted rows of Parisian buildings and busy activity glowing from the bistros and tail lights in the background. I especially love the vespa’s headlight in the mid-ground: there is so much earnestness and motion, and yet so much peace and contentment in this single moment in time.
