About the Artwork: Vista
Where I created this piece: Garda town, along Lago di Garda (Lake Garda) near the Italian Dolomites, Veneto, Italy.
What I love about this piece: There is a vintage, pulled-from-the-archives feel to this little moment in time. This villa overlooks a stunning, picturesque view of a mountainous cove along Lake Garda in northern Italy. I created this image from atop a docked ferry, ready to whisk me away to another tiny lakeside town. In this moment, I wondered what it would feel like to have such an incredible balcony view: from the cream and coral villa staring back at me. What I created was a timeless, elegant little moment of curiosity and wonder.

Each piece connects to themes woven throughout both the collection it is a part of, as well as themes found across my work.
