What I love about this piece: The late afternoon light bounces softly off the white walls and terracotta tiled roofs. The gentle rippling of the water suggests there’s a lot going on nearby, but this particular little canal is near-silent. The brick footbridge leads your eye to the man in the jacket, headed home.
