About the Artwork: Seaside
The careful curve of the rows of beach umbrellas and chairs follow the natural lines in the sea and sand… with one beloved little chair slightly (and delightfully) askew, the morning sun already enjoyed.
Where I created this piece: Monterosso al Mare (Cinque Terre), Liguria, Italy.
What I love about this piece: The orange and dark green beach umbrellas at the bottom of the frame follow the curve of the shoreline, leading your eye to soft light bouncing across the quiet buzzy blue of the Mediterranean sea. You can feel the calm serenity of the morning, the fresh warm sun, and the cool sand still lingering in the shadows and last night’s moon breeze.

Tiny Details: Hand-Painted Frame & Canvas Backing
✴︎ Framing: I’ve hand-painted the frame in a gorgeous deep iridescent bronze, which beautifully picks up the light from different angles around the room.
✴︎ Canvas Backing: The canvas backing is also painted in the same shade of iridescent bronze, creating a beautiful back to the ornament, should it show itself a bit on your tree.
✴︎ Velvet Ribbon: I’ve selected a beautiful velvet ribbon to tie around the sturdy triangle hook on the back of your frame. You can remove this ribbon if you choose to use the piece as a small finishing touch to a gallery wall instead of as an ornament!
