Where I created this piece: Dorsoduro, Venice, Italy.
What I love about this piece: The small bridge over the canal frames the boat with the grandfather and son as they prepare to pass underneath. I love the subtle hues of coral, brick and rose-orange on each of the buildings, unified by similar terracotta rooftops. They seem to be glowing from the sunlight and the light's reflection in the water below.
